With Smart Control technology, your smartphone can become an alternative remote control. This means that if the physical remote is forgotten, damaged, or out of battery, work doesn’t have to stop – the mobile app lets you keep operating the equipment.

Your phone connects directly to the receiver without the need for the physical remote, allowing you to control the system easily. The mobile virtual remote includes a START button just like the physical one, and a STOP button that works as an emergency stop, ensuring safety at all times. The app also uses your phone’s vibration to provide instant feedback every time a button is pressed.

However, the mobile remote should be seen as complementary. It is not meant to replace the physical remote as the main work tool, and should always be used carefully, in safe environments and without distractions. ​

Signal stability: shows the quality of communication while a button is pressed.

Distance estimation: helps assess effective range, even in complex installations.

Channel in use: identifies potential interference and shows the active channel.

Remote battery level: estimates the battery status of the remote in use.

Assistance in Your Tasks

With Smart Control, pairing a replacement remote or receiver has never been easier. Each replacement comes with its own unique code, ensuring security: only previously paired remotes can operate the receiver.

Traditionally, this process required opening the receiver and pressing an internal button. With our Tarso mobile app, you can now do it directly from your smartphone, without opening the device and in much less time.

The app guides you step by step and shows in real time what is happening, ensuring no mistakes. At the end, it confirms that the pairing has been completed successfully.

Safety First

With Smart Control, safety comes first. That’s why all our receivers include the Fail Safe feature, designed to protect you from potential communication errors from mobile devices and ensure that no action remains active without real user control.

With Fail Safe, if a button is pressed longer than the configured time, the relays automatically open, stopping the operation and preventing risks even in case of an unintended signal.

The app allows adjusting this safety time between 3 and 15 seconds.

Fail Safe shows how Smart Control combines safety and flexibility: the system protects the user and the equipment first, while still offering the freedom to configure operations according to each need.

An essential function that makes safety a cornerstone of your operation and lets you work with complete peace of mind.

Customise it

Each system can adapt to your way of working. The app allows you to customize key settings, ensuring the system fits each user and application.

Each receiver can have an identifier or alias, making it easy to distinguish it from other devices. This field is fully customizable: you could, for example, use the vehicle’s license plate. If you prefer, the system can generate an identifier automatically.

Access security is important: receivers come with a factory password, which is recommended to change after the first connection. If you forget your personalized password, the app guides you step by step to recover it easily.

Additionally, Smart Control offers extra settings to adjust the working range, Fail Safe time, and other operational parameters, allowing each system to function exactly as its user needs. With these options, your Smart Control is not only safe and reliable, but also flexible and fully adaptable to your way of working.

Limit the working range

There are applications where the operator must remain at a reduced distance and maintain direct visual contact with the maneuver to ensure safety. To meet this need, Smart Control receivers include the working range limitation function.

The range limitation ensures that the operation can only be carried out within a safe distance, reinforcing safety and preventing unsupervised maneuvers. The adjustment can be applied both to the physical remote and to the digital remote via the app.

The app guides the user step by step through the initial calibration, which must be carried out with the remote and receiver installed in their usual location. Once calibrated, the user can switch between different range levels at any time from the app, without having to repeat the process.
